CMKid class related questions and answers;

Q1. How much are the classes and what other costs are their?
Once you have signed up using our online form, you will be emailed details of the weekly cost of the classes. You will also have to pay a one off admin fee, but with that you will receive a free CMKids t-shirt and shorts matching the class that you attend e.g. Green Monkey attendees will receive a Green Monkeys Tshirt, etc...
Q2. How long does a session last?
Our classes run for 45 minutes but we do ask parents to try and arrive around 5 minutes before the class is due to start, to allow you to settle and get ready before we begin. Those 5 minutes usually allow your little one to say hello to the coaches and warm up a little before our games begin.
Q3. Are all the staff Enhanced CRB checked?
Yes, ALL staff are enhanced CRB checked.
Q4. Do I have to pay for the classes that I do not attend?
Once you have enrolled onto our classes, you will need to pay for consecutive classes regardless of attendance. If you are having 3 or more weeks off then we can sort something out.
Q5. Can I just turn up to a class or do I need to let you know in advance?
Everyone wishing to come along for a free taster session will need to sign up to the classes first by filling in the forms online. Once this has been done, you will receive an email confirming your taster session date.
Q6. I missed my taster session, what do I do now?
Not a problem, just email us and inform us when you can attend your taster session and we’ll sort something out.
Q7. Do I have to stay and play with my child or can I leave them and come back?
We ask that all parents stay and ‘play’ in our CMKids classes. For the Green classes especially, parent interaction is advised. Your involvement within the classes depends on a few factors including child’s confidence and the duration that they have been coming to the classes. E.g. a child who is brand new to Cheeky Monkeys will need more assistance from a child that has been attending for a couple of months who those what they are doing and doesn’t need mummy or daddy’s help. Also as a child progresses from Green to Purple to our Red Monkeys class, a parents involvement will decrease allowing you to watch and enjoy our classes and your child’s development
Q8. My little one used to come along to the classes, do I have to pay an enrolment fee for signing them back up again?
No, although you may need to purchase a new CMKids t-shirt if your child is old enough to move into an older class.
Q9. I have a friend that wants to come with me for a free taster class, can I just bring them along?
If you could get them to sign up online. This is done as our classes may be full and it would be a health and safety risk to have any additional children. Also we like to know exactly who is in our classes - this to ensure that any adult in the classes is meant to be there.
Q10. I have a voucher, when do I need to tell you about it?
If you have a voucher for the classes, please inform your lead coach on your taster session or email us once you have signed up online and have been informed of your taster class date.
Q11. What does my child need to wear, bring with them?
If you could get your little one dressed in sport appropriate clothing - plimsoles/indoor clean trainers and clothing that isn’t too restricting allowing your little one to run around. Also please ensure that you bring a drink for your little one as they’ll definitely need it!
Q12. I came to a free taster session a while ago, can I have another one?
Every child is entitled to one free taster class - depending on the duration since you’re last taster session we may be able to sort something out.

Our Soccer School training sessions are a drop off service. 4. Birthday Party Related Questions Show(+)

Birthday Party related questions and answers;

Q1. How do I go about booking a party?
We get parties booked over three months in advance and it is not uncommon for us to receive a couple of parties even more in advance if the party is around a holiday (Christmas, Easter etc.) It is advised that parents wishing to hire Cheeky Monkeys for their party entertainment provisionally book a time slot as to avoid disappointment.
Q2. Once I have got a provisional booking, how long is my time slot saved for me?
We don’t necessarily have an exact time frame, as long as you are within constant dialogue with ourselves as you confirm a venue then we are happy. If we haven’t heard from you after 7-10 days, you will be sent an email to see if you are still interested in having a Cheeky Monkey party. If we do not hear from you in over a fortnight your provisional booking will be canceled.
Q3. Do I need to book my own venue?
Yes. Cheeky Monkeys can provide you with all your party entertainment but hiring a venue is down to you. This gives you the freedom to pick and choose a venue near to you that meets our requirements (the more room the better and that the venue is safe for children).
Q4. Can you give me any advice on which venue to hire?
That’s not a problem, we have an entire map dedicated to party venues that we recommend. Having entertained at over 100 parties we have seen the majority of venues in Leicester. Follow this link to see the venues we recommend www.cmaf.co.uk/parties/venues.
Q5. Do I have to hire a venue from your recommended venue list/Can I have the party in my garden?
You do not have to hire a venue from our recommended list as we haven’t been to every venue in Leicester and we are constantly updating the map so feel free to pleasantly surprise us. In regards to doing a party in your garden, we usually ask that you hire an indoor venue as England’s weather isn’t the most reliable and from experience parents aren’t that keen for their young child to be playing outside in the rain for over an hour.
Q6. What size venue would you recommend?
When booking a venue, the bigger the better! For parties of 16 we recommend a minimum hall size of 14x7mm (Badminton Court) a larger hall is preferred for parties of 20+.
Q7. Do you have a minimum number of children I can invite?
If you want a smaller party than either our Cheeky Howler or Cheeky Chimp package offers (16 children) then you can use our Pick n Mix package that allows you to pick and choose what aspects of the party that you want. We ask that you invite and pay for a minimum of 12 children.
Q8. How long does a party usually last?
It completely depends which party you purchase - for example, a Cheeky Howler package lasts 60 minutes whereas a Cheeky Chimp and Cheeky Baboon package lasts for 75 minutes. These times are only estimates, we usually over run!
Q9. I’ve booked a party package but am now expecting more children than I have paid for - what do I do?
It’s not a problem. You can just ‘top up’ your party package on the day of the party, just give us a call a day or two before your party to confirm the expected numbers to ensure that we bring enough medals and certificates (if applicable). A third coach is a mandatory requirement for parties with over 18 children in, we therefore ask that if you go above your purchased package by more than 4 or 5 children that you try and give us a couple of extra days notice to ensure we can get staff to cover the shift. Please have cash available on the day of the party ready to cover the additional cost of any extra children or medals that you wish to purchase on the day of the party.
Q10. Are all of the coaches Enhanced CRB checked?
Yes, ALL staff are enhanced CRB checked.
Q11. How do I confirm my booking?
To confirm your party booking please return your booking form along with full payment. Once we have received that, you will receive a confirmation email and invitations will be posted to you. If you have not received your invitations within a week of your confirmation email, please contact us as your invitations may have been lost in the post.

5. Bouncy Castle Related Questions Show(+)

Bouncy Castle related questions and answers;

Q1. How do I get a quote for a bouncy castle hire?
Please use our sign up form or go specifically onto the bouncy castle page whereby you can put your post code into our quote machine and it will give you a quote. Simples.
Q2. Am I liable for any damage to the castle whilst it is in my care?
Yes. Once the castle is dropped off in the morning, the delivery driver will complete a H&S check on the castle just before he/she leaves. You are more than welcome to join them to check the castles condition. Any tears or damage found upon collection will be deemed the fault of the hirer’s. The hirer will then be responsible for the cost of repairing the castle to the state that it was in prior to the hirer’s rental.
Q3. Do I need to pack away the castle before you arrive?
No, that is for the delivery driver to do. You are not covered if you decide to try and pack away the castle and hurt yourself. Also the delivery driver needs to inspect the castle to check for damage and to ensure that nothing has been left within the castle as this can stain and damage the castle.
Q4. Does the ground have to be level?
For Health and Safety reasons we do require a flat, level ground that is on one type of surface. e.g. just grass or just concrete. We are unable to hire a castle for gravel or any other unlevel, unsturdy surface that could potentially damage the castle. Please do not cut the grass within a day or two of your hire.
Q5. Is there anything that I need to do before the delivery driver arrives?
Please ensure the area that will have the castle will be going on is clear - this includes trimming back or covering over any large bushes or trees that could impede or damage the castle whilst it is in your care. If the delivery driver decides that the castle does not fit within the area intended for the castle, they are within their right to refuse to leave the castle within your care but you will still be charged for the hire due to negligence on your behalf in not ensuring that there is adequate space for the castle.
Q6. Can I tape anything to the castle/Is there anything that I can’t put on the castle?
No, sellotape will damage the castle as will most sticky substances. Balloons and party poppers are strictly forbidden from touching the castle as it will permanently stain the castle.
Q7. What happens if I make a mess on the castle e.g. ice cream, grass, sand?
If you dirty the castle, you are expected to clean your mess otherwise, if the state of the castle is in a way deemed unacceptable by the delivery driver upon collection you will be charged for the cleaning of the castle.
Q8. Can the castle stay up in bad weather?
The bouncy castles are weather durable, within reason. If it begins to rain more than a slight drizzle, it is advised to turn the castle off and go indoors until the weather has cleared. The blower does not necessarily need to be covered but if you could do so whilst the castle is turned off then the gesture would be appreciated. But please make sure that blower is NOT covered when the castle is turned back on.
Q9. Do you cater for indoor hires?
Yes, but please ensure that the height of the castle is at a minimum 3 feet away from the top of the castle.
Q10. Does it matter what land the castle is going on?
Yes, as we need to bring the appropriate equipment. If the hire is on grass then we need to bring different equipment to hires that are on on concrete.
Q11. Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, as it required by law.

For more information about our Bouncy Castle’s please read our Bouncy Castle Terms and Conditions.
